I think there's going to be a renaissance for x402 agentic payments now that we've grown comfortable with running autonomous agents 24/7 and letting them talk to one another. The last step to full autonomy is economic independence from their creators.
x402 is the biggest trend for a reason. Despite so much skepticism around it, I cannot fathom a world where smart, fast, independent agents rely on tradFI payment rails. Doesn't make sense to bottleneck AI with human flows. Agents desperately need API-speed payment.
